Create a Gratitude Journal

Public Welcome - 3-5pm 11/18

You will be guided through the process of printmaking, to create the cover of your own unique amazing Gratitude Journal. Journal prompts will be provided, to get you started in a gratitude practice. A variety of papers, cutouts, letters, and more will be available for decorating your journal. You will also be guided in a gratitude visualization/meditation.

A gratitude journal is perhaps the best way to easily increase your level of happiness. Grab a friend and come enjoy the power of community, connection, creativity, and gratitude! 

Moleskin Journals and all art supplies needed will be provided. You are encouraged to bring any supplies you might like to use for example, favorite quotes or pictures (these can be collaged in your journal), markers or anything that floats your boat!

A wonderful experience for the whole family -- partners, teens, all of us who need to remind ourselves of the many blessing in our lives.

Coffee, Tea, and light snacks will also be provided. Children must be 12 and older.

Every element of the universe is in a constant state of vibration manifested to us as light, sound and energy. (Even scientists acknowledge this as a fact.) 

A person can tune his or her own consciousness into the awareness of that totality with the use of a mantra. By vibrating in rhythm with the breath to a particular sound that is proportional to the creative sound or sound current, one can expand one’s sensitivity to the entire spectrum of vibration. “Naad” is the essence of all sound — the vibrational harmony through which the Infinite can be experienced. “Naad Yoga” is the science of Naad based on the experience of how sound vibrations affect the body, mind, and spirit through the movement of the tongue, the mouth, and changes in the chemicals in the brain.

The “Shabd” is the sound current or vibration that dissolves that part of the ego which obstructs the truth, and prevents us from perceiving and acting from our authentic Self. The “Shabd Guru” is a quantum technology of sound which directly alters our consciousness through the power of Naad.

Using sound (a mantra) we will go deeply into a meditative state that will heal and balance the physical body & the energetic body.  Then you will relax for a long gong-led relaxation.

The Gong is a singularly effective instrument to help the listener detach from the pressure and content of the mind through an induced meditative state in order to get free of habitual patterns.”  “The Gong works on all levels to heal & transform. The Gong impacts the body and its meridians. It will penetrate every cell and fiber of your body releasing blocks [energetic and emotional], reducing stress and tension, and stimulating circulation. The result is a reorganization of the emotional energy and feelings that are tied up in the body structure. The entire nervous system is put under pressure to adjust and heal itself.
