Yoga Classes:
 | The studio has a variety of classes for every level
-- our class are light-hearted an fun while still focusing on the important
aspects of a Yoga practice:
 |
The Monday's Flowing
Yoga
evening class is more vigorous
with flowing routines like the Sun Salutation, Moon Salutation and Tatva
Yoga's Side-to-side flow and variations, including occasional longer
holds in asanas. This class is appropriate
anyone with 3 or more months of a regular Yoga practice and knowledge of
Sun Salutations. |
 |
If you are tired, stressed, or just drained,
Kundalini Yoga classes can help. And if you
want more than a "just physical" Yoga practice, Kundalini Yoga may be
what you've been looking for. Combining movements with vigorous
breathing, special Kriyas for energy, health, heart-opening, etc., and
easy to learn chants to calm the mind, Kundalini Yoga is a real
life-enhancing and life-changing practice. We also have a
gong-meditation after the set. Gong meditation really has to be
experienced to be believed. The class is appropriate for students
at all levels of experience, and the routines (Kriya) are from the
teachings of Yogi Bhajan. |
 |
Core Yoga Saturday
mornings 11:00AM - 12:15/12:30PM using movements based on Kundalini
Yoga and Viniyoga to strengthen the muscles of the abs and back. Appropriate for all
levels. Always
including plenty of deep stretches and a long relaxation or pranayama
practice at the end. Room temperature
will be kept around 85 degrees -- safe for our more senior students, but
warm enough for some great stretching. |
|
 | Private lessons are available by appointment.
 | You can request the instructor to focus on a particular problem area
for you, or to learn some basic Yoga poses if you are new to Yoga and
feel uncomfortable joining the open Yoga class Thursdays or Saturdays.
Private classes at the studio are $65/hour. |
|
 | Have mat, will travel.
 | Classes can be arranged on-site at a nearby location of your choice --
like a conference room at your office. It is recommended that
participants buy a mat. (You can get them at Wal-Mart, Target or TJ Maxx.)
Please contact the instructor for pricing information. The class
is 1 hour and you can have up to 10 participants. |
|

Pilates Classes:
 |
Mat and Ball Exercises based on Spencer
Pilates (we work too hard not to laugh once in awhile).
 |
Mat routines will be a series of movements designed to strengthen your
abdominal
and back muscles (core muscles). These are done in a continuous flowing sequence,
with pauses for resting and stretching. We also include some upper
body and leg/thigh/glut firming exercises. |
 |
Ball exercises are practiced with a large ball, sitting on the ball,
holding the ball between
your feet or in your hands, lying over the ball, or lying on the mat
with your legs resting on the ball. These exercises strengthen your core and
are great for strengthen the arms, legs, thighs and gluts. |
