RabBoar Studio is the only 3HO (Kundalini Yoga Organization) partner in
the state of Arkansas with 3 certified Kundalini Yoga teachers.
To reach your full potential as a human and find inner peace and
happiness, try our Kundalini Yoga class --
(read more about Kundalini Yoga here).
Stabilize your nervous system, balance you endocrine system, increase energy, balance your
energy centers (chakras), increase oxygen intake,
cleanse your organs, improve digestion, and open your heart -- only a few
of the benefits of a regular Kundalini Yoga practice.
All classes are appropriate for beginners or the more
experience student.
Join Siri Daya Tuesday evenings (5:30 - 6:45pm)
for "The Kundalini of Sound". The primary focus is a
long meditation/chant with an extended gong relaxation
to absorb and integrate the benefits accrued during the meditation.
Thursday 6:00 - 7:15pm (taught by David or Arjinder) try our traditional "Kundalini
Yoga & Meditation" class which will include a Kriya (set of
movements), meditation & gong relaxation to relieve work-week stress so you can be more
fully present and relaxed over the weekend. Kriyas' focus will be
regeneration of the nervous system, calming the mind, stimulating your
immune system, and many more. With a regular practice
you be healthier and stress free.
The each class ends with a gong relaxation, The Long Time Sun blessing song, and, as
is traditional, Yoga tea
is served.
"Kundalini Yoga
is uncoiling yourself to find your potential and your vitality and to
reach for your virtues. There is nothing from outside. Try to understand
that. All is in you. You are the storehouse of your totality." Yogi
Bhajan
The many benefits of Tai Chi Chuan have been reported in health
magazines as well as TV specials. Our Tai Chi teacher hears every
week how his students have improved their balance, reduced dependency on
pain medications, even lowered their blood pressure so they can reduce
or eliminate medication they have been taking for years -- often
within a only few months of beginning a regular Tai Chi practice.
Join David and his students Mondays and Wednesdays
5:30 - 7PM
and enjoy your own health benefits. This class is appropriate for
beginners.
If you
have Yoga experience, join us from
5:45 - 7:00 PM on Mondays and practice Flowing Yoga. For 30
minutes, we'll move
thru a series of poses following a slow breath. Then we'll
practice 30 minutes of deep stretching before ending with a relaxation
and/or meditation.
And
strengthen your core muscles with our "Core Yoga" class on
Saturdays 10:00AM to 11:15PM. Using techniques from Kundalini Yoga, Iyengar, and Viniyoga, we will move slowly
and with focus to strengthen our abdominal and back muscles, with plenty of good
stretching and a long relaxation or pranayama practice at the end. This class
is appropriate for all levels of experience.
To really
strengthen your core (and every other muscle in your body), help prevent
back-pain, and have fun doing it, join us for Pilates Wednesdays 5:45 -
6:45. We start with the ball (or some aerobics) and continue with
intense mat movements, always using the last 15 minutes for some good
stretching.
Regular exercise can Reduce
